My personal mission is proving that there are still young Americans who are willing to take responsibility and make the sacrifices necessary to protect our rights and liberties against apathy, entitlement, and government dependence. I believe in constitutionally limited government, personal responsibility, and individual liberty, and I strive to help my generation understand the importance of equipping ourselves to take up the reins of leadership in this country for the coming. We will define the future of American liberty: we can either sit idly by and watch our heritage slip away, or we can take up arms (and pens and keyboards and microphones) and defend it with everything we are.
The Republic our Founders handed us in 1787 is in imminent danger of being subverted and supplanted by a growing class of people who want to reap where they have not sown, that an unrestrained near-majority is struggling to overtake the good government that was first created here and replace it with a ruling class. We need to protect the Republic against those who want to replace it with national socialism.
I am a sophomore at Colorado Christian University studying business and political science, interning at the Centennial Institute, and learning how to be a voice of truth and liberty among my generation. I competed in speech and debate for two years in high school and a year in college, with a focus on parliamentary debate and extemporaneous speaking.
Most importantly, I live by Paul’s admonition in 1 Timothy 4:12 – “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.”
For God and Country,
